Piano / Keyboard
The Music Masters
curriculum is designed to teach children to
play the Piano & Keyboard in an integrated,
sequential way. Children actively learn to read
and understand music notes.
|
|
 |
Singing Out Loud
Children learn to
use their own voice as an instrument through
comprehensive vocal instruction. Children learn
about pitch, proper breathing, and the sheer
joy of singing.
By learning how
to sing a wide variety of songs, music masters
students develop a sense of different music
genres and are exposed to all types of music.
Singing is the most natural form of expressing
music and is an essential part of Music Masters

Understanding Music Theory
Learning how to read and write music seems
effortless through the use of games and fun activities.
Music Theory includes learning how to read and write music,
one of the most important foundations in a child’s musical
development.

The Music
Masters approach to learning the language of music works
through interactive games, hands-on “edu-tainment”, and
a series of exercises for children to do at home.
Part of learning music theory involves understanding
rhythm and beats in music. Through a variety of games and
activities, children develop a sense of rhythm and coordination.

Moving Creatively
Young imaginations
are stimulated by creative movement
to all types of music. As a key component
of the Music Masters curriculum, expressing
creative movement to music allows children
to freely express how music makes them
feel. Beyond physical expressions, children
have the opportunity to convey how the
music affects their emotions and learn
to recognize which types of music make
them feel happy, angry, sad, or silly!

Performing
to Music
Music Masters exposes children
to the performance aspect of music by incorporating
a solid educational curriculum that explores how music
has been applied to the arts historically, and up to
now. Children not only learn about the art of performance,
they are able to apply their own performance talents
in class!
